I have a red dot/spot on the inside of my bottom right

Customer Question

I have a red dot/spot on the inside of my bottom right eyelid a little over 1/16 of an inch in diameter. It isn't raised, doesn't hurt or anything. I just noticed it as I was putting in a contact. Any ideas?

Since it does nt hurt, its clear that it is not an infective/inflammatory condition.

Common eyelid disorder include stye, chalazion, blepharitis, and they all cause pain.

sebacious cysts do not cause pain, but they are raised bumps and you will know it when you see it.

Tiny hemorrhages (petechiae) are another possibility. They are not significant and disappear on their own.

If things do not resolve on their own, do check with primary care.

Thank you very much. I probably would've spent $50+ on a checkup and more in gas. This was a terrific value. Thanks again.
