If you were to "Google" aspartame you will find page after page of others who have suffered from this product. I am firm believer is staying away from this and all artificial sweeteners.
Diabetics argue that they need to have this in their sodas, however is you really want a Pepsi, have the new one with all natural sugar. My sister in law is a diabetic, she has ONE and her blood sugar did not spike.
If you did not have pain while off the diet soda, then the best course of action is stay away from it.
This product may not effect everyone in the way it effects you, but there are plenty of story's out there to justify staying away from it.
