Most likely nothing will happen.

But, fleas can carry tapeworm which can be contracted if you eat the flea. (not if you are bitten). Fleas can ingest the tapeworm eggs, then harbor the "larva" so to speak, which can then turn into adult tapeworms when ingested by humans.
