As & when we are talking of the protein in the blood then it denotes the level of serum albumin & globulin. These are the proteins which are produced in the liver.Whenever there is decrease in level of blood protein then it is either producing less due to liver diseases or excreting more due to renal disease.
The most common liver disease associated with it is liver cirrhosis.Hope this will help you.
