Thanks for the question

Decongestants should be avoided with high blood pressure unless your Dr says it is ok for you to take them. For the pain, you can take Tylenol or Advil (Ibuprofen) as long as you are not allergic to either of the ingedients. An alternative would be something like Coricidin HP. It is formulated without the decongestants that can run your blood pressure up. You can also use a warm, wet compress over the eyes and nose to help relieve the pain.
