There has been no clear cut study that I'm aware of that implicates red wine in colon cancer. However, there have been several to prove the link between alcohol intake and colon cancer. So it's safe to deduce that excessive drinking of red wine does increase your risk for colon cancer.


This being said, if you are going to drink in moderation (a glass a day) red wine is an excellent choice as there are many benefits linked to this.
