what would cause numbness in left arm and hand other than a heart attack

Since when do you have this numbness ?

Does this increase / decrease on moving your arm / neck ?

Do you have any breathing difficulty / sweating / racing hear beat?

Kind Regards,

The numbness only happened from my elbow down to my hand. The first time was 2 days ago, 2nd was about an hour ago. the answer is

No to the rest of your questions. It just feels like it's asleep and usually last only for a little while.

are you still there?

This can be a pinched Ulnar Nerve at the Elbow, that would cause similar symptoms as a numbness in your arm.

But since you have a history of a mini stroke which was a possibility on an MRI / CT scan, I would advise calling your doctor and letting him know about this.

This can be a worsening of the stroke that you had 2 days ago and in the given clinical setting should not be ignored.

Please do call your doctor and go to the ER if this numbness progresses further.
