Resolved Question:

I have constant pain under collar bone on right side of my chest. Could it be a pulled muscle? Have been taking Motrin for 3 days and it helps for a couple of hours. Three at a time is that okay?

Since how many days you have pain?

Any problem in breathing?

Family history of heart disease?

Customer: replied 8 years ago.
I have been having the pain for 3 days. No problem breathing. Father died at 56, Mother died at 66 both died from Coronary's. Brother has had stents, I have had no heart problems. It hurt more when I sit or raise my right arm so feel like it could be a pulled muscle.

Hurts more when I sit, better when I stand or lay down.

I would suspect non cardiac causes of such pain like acid reflux , costochondritis , anxiety , stress, muscular pain , pinched nerve .Also it can be acid reflux pain. take syp pepto bismol.

Take painkiller like motrin, If you have any problem in breathing, or the pain is very severe, then please see doctor.
