I'm freezing, can't get warm enough, not even with two

This answer was rated:

I'm freezing, can't get warm enough, not even with two comforters on me. Then once I do get to sleep, I wake up soaking wet. I have deep productive cough. As a health care worker, I'm constantly exposed to patients with TB. I'm just hoping this is a virus that will pass. What is your advice?

Hi there

When was your last TB skin test/chest xray?

Customer: replied 8 years ago.
God afternoon. Sometimes being a nurse can be a pain. I'm hoping it's bronchitis with the coughing up of green secretions. My last TB was 11 months ago. I'm due for another one this month.

I've been sick before, but never with chills and sweating.

Good afternoon! Yes, it can be a pain. I am around a tremendous amount of sick patients.

Honestly, it sounds like you might have viral pneumonia. Been having a headache, stiff neck, malaise also?? If so, it could just be something viral like the pneumonia. If you're not feeling drastically better in a few more days, I think it would be time for a chest xray. (and your TB skin test).
