You will need to determine exactly what the insulation is made of before knowing what your risk will be.

More importantly, the effect on your airway right now is what you need to be concerned with. Often wheezing and shortness of breath can be from air blow fiberglass.

If you develope fever or breathing issues, get seen by your doctor.

Hope this helps.

The insulation is the pink fiberglass kind

Fiberglass exposure is typically contact related and irritating.

I know of no literature that supports any cancer related issues.

It is unlike asbestos in tis respect.
