Resolved Question:

I have been hypothyroidism for 27 years. The last year I have struggled with borderline hyperthyroidism from a toxic nodule. My synthroid dosage has been changed 5 times in the last year and am now on .05. My question is what treatment can be used to stablize my condition.

If you have a toxic nodule, you should discus with your doctors about surgical options.

A toxic nodule can be removed surgically.

This will stabilise your thyroid hormone status, although it is likely to leave you hypothyroid again.
