Can you give us a little more history about this condition? What kind of lab test was done?

Did you have blood in the urine?

A history of bladder cancer?
Customer: replied 8 years ago.
There is no history of bladder cancer. Urine test has been done. He has to have lab work done and he has to have a cat scan. He does have lukemia, Which the doctor says is in 0 stage.

Sorry for the delay, for some reason the computer did not alert me that you had replied to the question.

Cancer cells in the urine are usually detected when someone looks at these cells underneath a microscope and determines they are suspicious looking; as the urine travels from the kidney, ureter, and bladder, these cells could be "shed" by cancer of any of those three organs.

A CT scan is being done to see if there are any unusual growths in the abdomen / pelvis which would be able to explain the unexpected finding in the urine. Unfortunately, one will have to wait for those results before knowing what the next step will be - which may mean a biopsy, or a cystoscopy (looking into the bladder via a catheter).
