Hello,

I would like to get some more detail information about your problem,

Do you feel pain on exertion ? Any area of tenderness?

Any shortness of breath?

Do you have high blood pressure, glucose or any other disease?

Did you take any medicine?

Waiting for your reply.

Thank you.

No shortness of breath but can feel slight discomfort if I take really deep breath. I dont have high BP and am on no Meds. Poking or putting prssure on area hurts. Feels like ribs pain. Pain on exertion like lifting, coughing, moving from sitting to standing but no pain while just sitting or lying down.

Thank you for the information.

From your history it appears that the pain is coming most likely from the inflammation of cartilage & rib junction of ribs or costochondritis.

This will cause pain on movement & pressure over the area.

However pain on the left side of the chest which is aggravated on climbing stairs or walking may come from heart cause also.

So you should get a physical examination by a doctor & take EKG or other tests as advised by him.

I hope this information will be helpful.

Please ask if you need any clarification.

Best wishes.
