if you have lower back paine when you go to bed and wake up could it be your kidneys I am 44 years old and i have had kidney stones twice it dosent fill like tht sharp paine only painefull on both sides of my lower back and if so what can i do

Is the pain radiating to front ?

Do you have nausea?

Burning urination?

the pain is in the back lowher back

sometimes i fill nausea but havent

no burning

no fever that i know of

i am on chantx to quit smoking for a month now

These symptoms doesnot look to be pointing towards kidney or urinary stone.

There are few possibilities for this. The most common cause seems to be is- herniated disc, this can cause further pinched nerve, and thereby pain in the back, . It is diagnosed with help of MRI of spine. Treatment is-physical therapy oral medications, if required epidural steroid injections may be considered. In few cases surgery can be considered. Second possibility is of Arthritis of spine. It is diagnosed by X-ray/ MRI of spine. Again it is managed with prescription medications and physical therapy. Please consult doctor for evaluation and management.

so i know back pain I broke my back a year aoo T 8,9, and this is the lower back could it be from that ?

Yes, this can be due to that , or it can be due to degenerative changes related to advancing age. As such you should see doctor for evaluation and management.
