Customer

It's possible that you have food poisoning. Drink any fluid except milk or caffeinated beverages to replace fluids lost by diarrhea and vomiting. If you have diarrhea and are unable to drink fluids (for example, due to nausea or vomiting), you may need medical attention and IV fluids. If you have signs of dehydration including diziness please go to the ER. See your doctor if you have diarrhea and are unable to drink fluids due to nausea or vomiting, if diarrhea lasts for more than 2 days, fever over 101, and if there is blood in your stool. Thank you. yes i think it may be food poisoning. should i contact the restaurant?

it was a very nice place, hard to imagine that the tuna was bad - but this diarrhea came on all of a sudden and it's been just about 2 hours since i ate.... i felt fine before that..

i don't think i have a fever, i had the chills for a short bit but that has subsided.

should i take immodium or just wait it out?

Customer

It is usually best to have it run it's course, and follow what I posted above. The purpose of diarrhea is to try and flush the toxin out, so using something to stop the diarrhea would defeat the purpose.
