I''m 52, reasonably healthy, non smoker. Recently my sense of taste has changed. I taste metal at the back of my tongue. It''s there constantly and makes things like red wine undrinkable. Any ideas what this might be??

I want to get some more detail information about your problem,

Reply to Dr.D. Saha's Post: I've had a metal taste in my mouth for about a week. I don't take any medication. I have a heart murmur which is checked every year and is never fussed over. 2 months ago I felt pressure on my chest and spent a day in hospital where the did a full investigation and discovered nothing. My teeth are fine.
Thank you for the information.
