A number of causes could lead to such 'heat sensation' or 'burning sensation' on the sole of the foot:

Peripheral neuropathy.

Lumbar disc lesion

Beginning of a foot problem like Plantar fascitis.

You should go for a checkup for this. You will need to be checked for the causes of peripheral neuropathy like diabetes, thyroid problems, etc. You will also need to be examined to rule out lumbar disc lesions and foot problems.
