Would you please give me a few more information-

How long it is there?

Does he have any other disease?

Does he take any medicine?

Thank you.

Customer: replied 9 years ago.
I have noticed it for the last couple of weeks. He does not have any diseases--he is really very healthy. He is 54 years old and he exercises every day and eats a balanced diet. He takes zocor, hyzaar and a multivitamin.

Did he have any blood test for kidney function? or any other test?

Thank you for the information.

The cause of urine like breath may be due to many causes like
Food & beverages , alcohol, medicines , tooth or gum infection , sinus infection , chronic respiratory infection, stomach problems etc.

Even taking of multivitamins may also give odor.

Please check whether any change of these factors have occurred or not during the previous weeks.

One particular condition which specifically gives urine like smell of the breath is chronic kidney disease or failure.

Though your husband is healthy you can check his BUN & creatinine levels .
