I have had this condition for approximately 3 months.   I do not wear contact lens. While I have been using reading glasses for many years I have recently gone to bifocals, but do not wear them all the time.
You are likely to be having conjunctivitis.

Since the symptoms have been there for so long, you are likely to be having an allergic form of conjunctivitis, or a chronic infection.

You need to see an eye doctor for this. Usually eye drops are sufficient to cure this condition.

But a doctor needs to see you to ensure that it is conjunctivitis, and then give the appropriate treatment.

In the meantime, you can use warm compresses to get some relief.
