Hello Sir

The blood-screening tests most often used to detect evidence of syphilis are the VDRL (Venereal Disease Research Laboratory) test and the RPR (rapid plasma reagin) test.

Other name: for RPR IS Syphilis Serology.
Assayed: TPHA (Treponema Pallidum HaemAgglutination) and RPR (Rapid Plasma Reagin)

Normally negative, Titres of 1:1, 1:2 etc require furthur investigation.

Please see this link for more information regarding this diagnostic tests.
