Resolved Question:

I've had mild diarrhea for over a week. The color of the stool is kind of orange--not red as in fresh blood or black. What could be the cause?

Sometimes certain medications can make the bowel movements orange. Vitamins can also do this, especially Beta-carotene. Intake of foods high in beta-carotene like carrots can also cause this, and food coloring. Another possibility is that it might indicate lack of bile salts which gives stool a brownish color. Other sources are antacids containing aluminum hydroxide, barium from recent barium enema test, and hepatitis. If it is something you are not ingesting, then you will need to see your doctor for an evaluation. You can read more here
