Customer Question

I am very tired all the time, have urinary frequency where I have never had that before. My last blood work about a month ago showed a low iron count. I am irritable, anxious and having trouble concentrating. Mood swings. I am a mess. I do not like how I feel. I started to take a multi vitamin last night to see if that helps, I just need to know where to go.

How anemic are you? Do you have diabetes?

Reply to A. Alexander, MD's Post: Not very anemic and I am not a diabetic as far as I know.

Your symptoms are rather vague but could be caused by a number of common conditions that are easily treated including: anemia, hypothyroidism and diabetes.

I think you need a cbc, a thyroid test (tsh) and a diabetes test. You can get all these at a local lab without seeing a physician if you like.
