Since how many days are you having these symptoms ?

Have you undergone any X- Ray examination of the knee joint ?

Any associated pain in other joints of the body ?

Are you over weight ?

Have you seen a doctor ? Treatment history if any ?

Any associated history of cold sensation generalised all over the body ?

As such possible causes of such symptoms include mostly the problems with the nerve like neuropathy ( alcohol related, diabetes related etc) , vascular causes may include vascular insufficiency etc .

But some times change in enviornment can also cause such symptoms .Also associated knee injury , degenerative changes(OA) can cause such knee pain .As such a clinical examination may be considered in such a case .

Hope this helps
