What does VGM, TGMH, CGMH mean and what does it indicate

Customer Question

What does VGM, TGMH, CGMH mean and what does it indicate when they are all low?

They are French version of MCV (mean corpuscular volume), MCH (mean corpuscular hemoglobin) and MCHC (mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration).

Hemoglobin only, is not true indicator of oxygen carrying capacity of the blood. There are other indices which will (like above), give true perspective of red blood cells and hemoglobin content in them, weight wise and volume wise.

Please feel free to ask, if you have further queries.
