Reply to Onlinedoc's Post: this ha soccurred only 2 times. First time one month ago. Second time today. No apparent external cause. He was involved in a mild car accident 3 months ago but no internal/external injuries.

today his teacher said his hand, in comparison to the other, was visibly swollen. he complains of much pain. this pain subsides after about 15 minutes or so. BP is unknown or normal since the school nurse has not mentioned it.

He may be investigated .

Following investigations are advised.

Blood examination-- Complete blood counts, Rheumatoid factor, E.S.R.

X-Ray examination - X ray hand & cervical spine

Meanwhile He can be given Tylenol 1SOS.
