can you stop your period right after it starts, a day or two later

Resolved Question:

If you only want to have your period for 2-3 days instead of the normal 5-7 days , is there a way to stop it?

Once it starts, you can't really stop it. If you start birth control a month prior to the cycle you want to avoid you can do that. Or by taking progestogen, which is generally taken about 7-10 days before your cycle starts.

One option may be the softcup. You can read about that here: Read here
