Customer Question

I started spotting and spotted for my entire length of my period. It wasn't heavy like normal. I am sick to my stomach. The smell of food turns my stomach.

It's possible that you could be pregnant. Your best bet is to wait at least two weeks after a missed period, and see your doctor for a blood pregnancy test as this is the most accurate way of testing. Other reasons for period abnormalites include stress, weight gain/loss, thyroid, hormonal imbalance, infection, illness, medications, polyp, cyst, amongst other reasons. If the blood test comes back negative, your doctor can do further testing to determine what the exact cause may be.
