1) WHEN was the device last used SUCCESSFULLY?
2) The AGE of the device?
3) Do you have a USB cable for connecting the device to a computer?

Is the device FULLY charged, and does the computer we will be connecting it to have a VERY HIGH SPEED connection to the internet?
Also, what type of computer is this (windows, mac, etc.)?
Another question for you:
If you have the device with you and it powers up successfully, please check the Map Info screen, and tell me EXACTLY what you see on that screen.
To reach that screen, start at the MAIN screen, and touch Tools, then Settings, then Map, then the Map Info (or just Info) button.
Let me know what you see - including ALL LINES of TEXT, and ANY "icons".
I see it has been a few days and I haven't seen a response on this page, so I just wanted to follow up to see if you have any more questions concerning this issue OR if the issue was resolved?
