You can get replacement fuses and fuse tips (this is what they call the additional parts in the fuse). I'll attach a picture. If this is what you are looking for, let me know. Hopefully it's not the whole unit - it really shouldn't be if it was fused.

What I would do is measure the power and ground socket of the plug to see what voltage you are getting. Should be between 10 and 12. Preferably 12V
