My Garmin NUVI will not boot up. There is no reset button on

Hello. My Garmin NUVI will not boot up. There is no reset button on the bottom of the unit - Model 1390. I pressed and held the on/off button for 8 seconds - nothing. I was in the process of trying to add more memory when the problem occurred. My screen shows only "GARMIN" and a blue triangle.
JA: What is the exact model of your Garmin? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: It says 1390 on the unit. I purchased in 5 1/2 years ago.
JA: What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Nothing happened.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: As I said, I pressed and held the on/off button. The instruction sheet says to reset the unit by pressing the button on the bottom - but there is no button
JA: Anything else you want the GPS expert to know before I connect you?

To help you with this issue, may I ask:

1) Is the device connected to ANY power source right now? Is so, what power source is being used?

2) You mentioned adding memory? Has a memory card been added to the device, and if so, what type and capacity is that card?
