Garmin Express doesn't see my nuvi40 connect to my desktop via a USB port
JA: What is the exact model of your Garmin? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: where do I find that
JA: What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: the Garmin has a picture of the device connected to a computer. I installed the Express app, and it tells me to plug in the gps
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: googling it
JA: Anything else you want the gps expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I turned the gps off and back on; unplugged and replugged it back into the usb port
