It has been a long time but I need to get an update to my Garman Automotive GPS.
JA: Just to clarify, what's the brand and model of the GPS?
Customer: Brand: Garman, nuvi 255W
JA: What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I read the model off the back of the unit
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Along time ago I signed up for lifetime updates.
JA: Anything else you want the gps expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: no, I have my Garmin plugged into the computer, what do I need to do.

1) What is the "status" of your device right now? That is, does it work well, have good battery life, etc.?

2) WHEN was the last time the device was used successfully?

3) WHEN was the last time the device was updated?

The device works well, used last week but have not done updates. I just need to known how to get updates.
I have it plugged into the computer.
