I have a Garmin Nuvi 1350 that will not boot past the Garmin

Customer Question

I have a Garmin Nuvi 1350 that will not boot past the Garmin logo. It turns on, shows the Garmin log anthen turns off.
JA: What is the exact model of your Garmin? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: Here is the data on the edge:CAN 310, Nuvi 1350, 1NP218520. It was purchased in 2010 in PA.
JA: What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: It has been in our car and nothing special happened. It would turn on for some time and then go off. I tried to take pictures of the "saved" places with my cell camera but could not keep it on long enough to finish the job. This has been in operable for a month.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I tried a soft and hard reset.
JA: Anything else you want the gps expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: no

Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,

Sorry to hear of any issue you are having with your device.

To help you with this issue, may I ask:

1) When was the last time the device operated SUCCESSFULLY?

2) Does the device power up AT ALL - when NOT connected to the vehicle power adapter?

Hi again,

I see it has been a few days and I haven't seen a response on this page, so I just wanted to follow up to see if you have any more questions concerning this issue OR if the issue was resolved?

I look forward to any further questions or results that you may have.

Thanks, ***** *****
