Good morning Ms. Wilson:
JA: What's the make/model of your GPS unit? How old is it?
Customer: Magellan RoadMate 1470 It is at least six (6) years old
JA: What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Nothing!
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I did not trouble shoot, but I have tried to update the software and the message I get is that I don't have enough disk space. What am I doing wrong?
JA: Anything else you want the GPS expert to know before I connect you?

What problem were you having before you tried the update?

Customer: replied 9 months ago.
There really was no problem, because the unit was not used for more than one year!

If you are trying to update the map and it says not enough space then you may not have the correct map type for your device... Where did you get the update from? Did you buy from Magellan?
