Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,

Sorry I didn't see your question earlier and to hear of any issue you are having with your device.

To help you with this issue, may I ask:

1) The FULL Model Number of the device you are working with (is it an "LM" model)?

2) The AGE of the device?

3) WHEN this issue first began (or was noticed)?

Hi again,

I didn't see a response here (on this page) but wanted to send the following information before I take a break for the afternoon.

As you MAY know, Garmin no longer offers repair of this particular model, but you may be able to have the device repaired at a couple of different places I have listed below.

Each of these places REQUIRE that you contact them to request a quote before sending the device in (to make sure they can actually do the job (have the parts available, etc.).

Option 1: Sharcnet -->>CLICK HERE<< Look for "Request Quote" button on the left of the page.

Option 2: PalmDR -->>CLICK HERE<< Look for Contact Us link (or phone number) on the page.

You may also be able to find local or online shops that offer these same services, but make sure you check out their reputation and experience in working on these units.

I hope this helps give you a few options. Please let me know what you find or if you have any more questions about the device.

If this has answered your question(s), please take a moment to rate MY service level (5-star is my goal) so that I get credit for my time helping you with this question.
You should see some "stars" (and SUBMIT button) to do that, but please let me know if you do NOT see them (you may have to scroll UP or DOWN) or can not use them.

Thanks, ***** *****
