I want my Garmin GPS to show the road I am driving on, not the road I am coming to. Thank you , please help me.
JA: What is the exact model of your Garmin? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: It is at the most 3 years old. 01615 10
JA: What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: not clear what you mean
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I am not very good at all this. I have tried everything
JA: Anything else you want the GPS expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: it used to tell me the road I am driving on, now it tells me the road I am coming to/

To help you with this issue, may I ask:

1) The FULL Model Name & Number of the device you are working with? If you're not sure and can find the Serial Number back, I may be able to get the model from that.

The FIRST step in troubleshooting this process is finding the MODEL NUMBER of the device.

MOST Garmin "automotive" devices are called "Nuvi" and are usually followed by a 3-4 digit number, and that model is USUALLY printed on a sticker - on the back or edge of the device.

If you can't find the model, look for the SERIAL NUMBER - usually printed right next to a "bar code" or "QR code". I can usually find the model number using the serial number.
