Customer Question

Hi - I'm trying to update my garmin gps. It keeps telling me that it will not download the software. Then, when I check for updates, there are none. Can you help me?
JA: What is the exact model of your Garmin? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: Does it tell me somewhere on the device?
JA: What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: It downloaded two of the three things listed. Said something about mass storage?
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Went to windows and checked for updates
JA: Anything else you want the GPS expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: no, thanks

Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,

Sorry to hear of any issue you are having with your device or the updates.

To help you with this issue, may I ask:

1) The FULL Model Number of the device you are working with? If you are not sure, let's start with the TYPE of device (automotive, hiking, golf, etc.)

2) What is the AGE of the device?

3) WHEN this issue first began (or was noticed)?

Hi again,

I see it has been a few days and I haven't seen a response on this page, so I just wanted to follow up to see if you have any more questions concerning this issue OR if the issue was resolved?

I look forward to any further questions or results that you may have.

Thanks, ***** *****
