I bought my daughter a Nuvi 205 a few years ago for christmas. She presented it to me last night and asked me to update the maps for her upcoming cross-country trip. I'm stuck on the product code. We no longer have the box, so we don't have the product code. How can I retrieve it from the unit so I don't have to buy another one?
JA: What model of Nuvi are you using? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: It's the Nuvi 205, guessing I got it around Christmas 2010, when she moved to New York City, at Best Buy for $99
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?

1) Does the device still works well - with the current maps that are installed?

2) Do you have a USB cable that will allow you to attach the device to a computer?
