Sorry to hear of any issue you may be having with your device.
To help with this issue, may I ask:
1) Is there ANYTHING different from how you have done the updates in the past? This could include the USB cable, the computer in use, changes in the device, etc.
2) I see it has been about an hour since you sent the original question. so have you restarted the update in that time, and if so, is it still running at this point?
