I cannot get Garmin Express to recognize my Nuvi 52. It worked a few months ago. I now have Windows 10 and I have the Communicator plug-in installed.

Welcome to, my name is ***** ***** I will do my best to assist you.

To start with, lets click the windows button at the bottom left, click settings, t hen click System, and then on the left click apps and features.

Wait a moment for the list to finish building. Then, find garmin express on the list. Click it, and uninstall it.

Once uninstalled, restart your computer. Now, we need to trash the garmin app data folder.

To do so, press the windows key on your keyboard, hold it down and press R

Now type in exactly %appdata% and hit enter.

This should take you to appdata/ roaming. find the garmin folder and delete it.

Next, go to appdata local, find the garmin folder and delete it.

Then go to this page to download and install a new copy of garmin express.

Once downloaded, make sure you open run and install garmin express. Then launch the new garmin express program.

Now, connect your nuvi to the computer by its USB cord. Turn it on.

Now on garmin express click add or find device. Can it find your Nuvi now?
