Hello & Welcome to Just Answer,
Sorry I didn't see your question earlier.
On this particular unit, you can use the "Near..." button of the "Where to?" screen. BUT, you will want to select the "A Different City" selection, then punch in a city in that province.
As a reference, if you look at the manual for this system (link to electronic (PDF) version below) on page 8, you will see the steps on how to do that.
BUT, I have a similar unit with me, and the steps are:
- Start at the MAIN screen.
- Touch "Where to?"
- Touch "Near..." (usually at the bottom of the screen).
- Select "A Different City" & touch "OK"
- Start typing in the CITY name, being careful of the spelling.
-- once you have in enough letters (or all letters), touch "Done"
--- You SHOULD now see a LIST of cities matching the search WITH the state/province included
- Select ONE of the cities you want.
You should now be RETURNED to the main Where to? screen, and your next search will be CENTERED around the city you selected.
Here is the link to the electronic manual:
I hope this helps and makes sense. Please let me know if that works for you or if you have any more questions.
Thanks, ***** *****
P.S. This USUALLY only works for the search you are doing on that screen (after entering a different city) and the device will return to the CURRENT location by default.
