Shaky idle shutdown... lol thanks for asking. changed Mass Air Flow and Throttle Body (new parts). drives better but still trying to shut down when coming to a stop

Note, I am not a mechanic. I comfortable following an instruction set (can read schematic) and not scared of a semi-easy/difficult task. I placed both the MAFS and the throttle body on the car myself, as both were/are extremely easy to get to

was the check engine light on which lead you to fault codes for the MAF and Throttle body replacement?

ALSO, check engine light is still on and computer giving 7 or 8 faluts/errors however, it's 4 of 1 and 3 of another (post installation. 4 codes (2 and 2) are all MASF too lean banks 1 and 2. the other 3 say the same thing without the MASF reference. To answer the question yes, that's part of the reason I changed the parts. But it was more about the idling/shutting off when coming to a stop. I had disconnected the MASF and it drove better but I ended up getting a message about reduction in power. This happened on Tuesday and was after trying two new MASF sensors (put back in the 10 o'clock position and all screws tightened). I was going to change the TPS, but they 100 for it alone and the one on the unit was not on with clamps.

p0171 was 1, but I don't have the print out with me at work. I may be able to run to the nearest AutoZone and get a quick scan. I do however have the report at home

What are my options in getting back to you. I only get a 30 minute lunch. I'm going to try and get the diagnostic report but if i can't get it until after work (5:30 PM Eastern time) is that ok
