Please be aware I do not know your skill level or abilities so I will be asking a lot of questions and in a lot of cases we will respond to each other quite a lot before we find a solution. If your not having any other issues and just the light is coming on I would suspect one of the speed sensors is bad, going bad or needs adjustment. Any good diagnostic with a scanner will show where the problem is in the system. And then can be repaired from that.

Actually there is a slip or hesitation in acceleration, a pause

OK I would get it on a scanner as soon as you can to prevent any other issues also keep in mind regular fluid maintenance helps these components work as they should
