I have a 2003 Yukon. My right turn signal fuse keeps on

Customer Question
Good morning Kevin....

Good morning Kevin. I have a 2003 Yukon. My right turn signal fuse keeps on blowing. Have changed the front right turn signal bulb, the rear turn signal bulb, and checked the wiring around the bulbs for any shorts. I have also checked the trailer connector for any frayed wires or shorts. No luck. Fuse still blows.

Mechanic's Assistant: Do all the fuses have the correct amperage for the circuits they're in?

Yes. They are 10A

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Yukon yourself? What have you tried so far?

I am doing this myself. The right front turn signal bulb was blown and I have replaced it. The rear turn signal bulb looked good, but I switched it with another bulb from the rear assembly. When I turn on my hazzards, the right turn signal in the side mirror is very faint.

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

That's all.

O.k.,at the rear of your vehicle under it on the frame rail usually next to or behind the spare tire is a wiring junction block. There should be several connectors plugged into this flat or square box on the frame rail itself.Disconnect the connectors and check for any wiring damage or corrosion in the connectors or wires as well as the junction block. If nothing is seen as an issue with these disconnected put in a new fuse and try the turn signal again and let me know if it shorts out again.I have had to replace connectors at this block as well as the junction block itself for this issue so lets start there and see if any issues are seen and let me know.
