I just bought a 17...
I just bought a 17 Sierra Denali 1500. I had the dealer install a leveling kit and was told it wouldn't affect the ride or need any adjustment in the magnetic ride control. My truck rides terrible. From my first question the dealer has simply been in cover your ass mode. In looking online, I see that several people have posted in GM truck forums that they have had a leveling kit installed and then had the dealer do a "level height relearn" and that made that took the ride back to factory. Dealer had never heard of this. If I can't find a solution I am just going to take the level kit off. Any feedback?

Yes they do need to do what is called a Trim Height relearn calibration.This is done with their scan tool/computer plugged into your vehicle and usually takes less then a half hour to do.If the dealer has no idea what your talking about then they are not trained enough to see this needs done.You can ask them to check their computer when plugged into your vehicle for this trim height relearn.It is usually under suspension or brake system and doesnt take long at all to do.If they still do not understand what to do then seek out another dealer to have this done.Any chevy,buick,cadillac or any GM dealer can do this.
