hello I experienced a problem last night in which my 2009 gmc sierra would go into a reduced power mode and i would have to pull over and shut it off and wait maybe 5 mins for it to reset..initially the traction control and stabilizer link warning would induce the reduced power mode so i pulled the fuse but it continued to occur

Hello my name is ***** ***** I can help.

Can you get the truck scanned for codes?

Also can you post your VIN#.

There are some special coverage for this problem. I want to see if it is on your truck.

Thank you

Customer: replied 8 months ago.

If the code is a throttle position sensor. This should pertain to it. Even if it out of warranty

There is a special coverage #11273B.

This special coverage covers the condition described above for a period of 10 years or 120,000 miles (193,000 km), whichever occurs first, from the date the vehicle was originally placed in service, regardless of ownership.

Here is the link.

Please let me know if this helps

When you get code check let me know so I can help.

Most auto part stores check it for free.

If this was helpful. Please take a moment and rate my service.

Thank you
