Customer Question

I have a 1990 suburban 1500 that keeps blowing the ECM I fuse whenever I try to turn on the ignition. I know it's a pink and black wire but I am at a loss as to where to start looking for the short. This thing has pink and black wires everywhere
JA: Do all the fuses have the correct amperage for the circuits they're in?
Customer: Yes
JA: Are you fixing your Suburban 1500 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I am. I tried with a meter to check continuity with a ground on either side of the fuse to determine which side the short might be on but both side show continuity
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: The fuse blew a few months ago but we replaced it and everything was fine.
