not work? We thought the motor was bad but when it was pulled out, it turned out to be fine. We had already put a new one in, which ran for about 10 minutes, and now, just like the old motor, it will not start, but whatever it is only affects the left side
JA: Have you checked the battery
, particularly the terminal connections? Are they corroded?
Customer: battery is fine. Anyway, that would most likely affect all the electronics. This seems to be something confined to the left side of the engine
JA: What is the model of your '10 GMC?
Customer: It is actually a 2001 GMC Sierra
JA: Are you fixing your Sierra yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: The truck belongs to my grandson. His step-grandfather is fixing it. He has been thinking that it is something in the wiring. He had already fixed some damaged wires and were trying the computer yesterday. I'm thinking it may be a sensor, but I am just a dumb blonde grandmother whose father was a helluva shade tree mechanic before everything became so technology driven
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I can't think of anything
