08 gmc 3500 duramax wont start charged batterys as soon as i conect pos and neg terminals the cluster lights up check eng light abs light everything without key in ignition...?????????
JA: Is it just the ABS light? Or is the brake system warning light on, too?
Customer: e brake light?
JA: Are you fixing your 3500 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: just basic stuff check fuses make sure no loose wires
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

Hi there. I am Cam.
With your issue, do you have anything aftermarket installed?

If no then remove all the relays, one at a time and see if one makes it go out.

IF so then replace that relay. IF that does not change it, verify there is no wiring touching anywhere or shorted. One common place that causes this is attaching terminals in the dash fuse block or junction block at the drivers foot for aftermarket lights and such. Often normal terminals are used to connect to a battery feed and the terminal is too large and touches more than one causing this.

I removed all the relays in the engine compartment one by one and it made no difference. The truck is 100% stock. I did notice that when I removed #37 under hood fuse airbag ignition that the lights went out though???? The lights that are on with the #37 fuse in is the air bag,ABS, odometer,and gear select
