Customer Question

I have a 2005 Yukon Denali, i cant get the rear doors nor the rear hatch to unlock from the remote or the interior lock button. once in a great while they may work but for the most part no. very frustrating. sounds like the front actuators are moving very slow or weak.
JA: Is this your first time dealing with this issue?
Customer: its been going on for a for over a year. its a secondary car that i don't use often. only has 58,000 miles
JA: Are you fixing your Yukon Denali yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: i would. haven't tried anything yet
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no

sorry for the delay.......
Problem with these Locks is the BCM (body control module) activates the Lock / Unlock
Use of GM Dealer Scan Tool or equal is needed to Test & Program
You are limits to Testing / Swapping the LOCK & UNLOCK Relays to see if the Relay is the issue & to Test Fuse "20" on both sides of the fuse for Voltage +
The Lock / Unlock Relays & Fuse 20 is located in the Inside Fuse Panel
